My name is Sonia Russell and I have been a neighbor and friend of Bob's for
awhile now.  I have worked with him and for him.  As a first time horse
owner with a young, dominant, smart and athletic horse (not typically the
best scenario) Bob has helped me see and understand more of how the horse
thinks with patience and repetition.  I have come to realize how important
it is to have the horse's mind in the right place before anything else.  The
result is a true partnership with your horse.  Going on trail rides I have
also learned is also a big part of this and  I have to say it's an adventure
if you're with Bob. I have witnessed his ways of natural horsemanship with
his horses, clients horses and with my horse.  I have never seen his methods
fail and don't believe they will.  They just simply make sense!
Now, I am not there yet...but I am on my way and loving every minute of it!

Being a first time horse owner, I made the mistake of jumping in over my head and
purchasing a horse before learning much about them, and what to look for when
buying a horse. I thought the right thing to do was buy a horse that had been abused
and sent to a shelter. What I ended up with was a horse that was not ridable for
even some seasoned riders. After much thought we had come to the conclusion
