My name is Sonia Russell and I have been a neighbor and friend of Bob's for
awhile now. I have worked with him and for him. As a first time horse
owner with a young, dominant, smart and athletic horse (not typically the
best scenario) Bob has helped me see and understand more of how the horse
thinks with patience and repetition. I have come to realize how important
it is to have the horse's mind in the right place before anything else. The
result is a true partnership with your horse. Going on trail rides I have
also learned is also a big part of this and I have to say it's an adventure
if you're with Bob. I have witnessed his ways of natural horsemanship with
his horses, clients horses and with my horse. I have never seen his methods
fail and don't believe they will. They just simply make sense!
Now, I am not there yet...but I am on my way and loving every minute of it!
Hope to see you on the "Trails Untraveled!"
Being a first time horse owner, I made the mistake of jumping in over my head and
purchasing a horse before learning much about them, and what to look for
buying a horse. I thought the right thing to do was buy a horse that had
and sent to a shelter. What I ended up with was a horse that was
not ridable for
even some seasoned riders.
After much thought we had come to the conclusion
that the best thing to do was sell the horse and start over. Then a friend told us
we should contact Trails Untraveled and have Bob come over and evaluate the horse.
I have never been so happy I made that call. Bob has transformed my horse from an
uncontrolable ball of nerves with a stuck gas pedal, into what myself and others who
new him from the beginning believe to be an almost perfect horse. The gentle hands on
methods and genuine understanding of horses Bob has are priceless. If you
care about your horse and want the best training available, you owe it to
yourself and your horse to call Trails Untraveled.
YOU WONT BE SORRY!

I have been riding with Bob for five years and he taught me how to ride and communicate with my horse. I didnít even know what a girth was when I started. Bobís teachers are Ray Hunt and Tom Curtin. The main education comes from Bob really caring and teaching the human how to correctly train and communicate with your horse. When mutual respect between the animal and human exists - the sky is the limit! I am giving this testimonial to help your enjoy your horse more. If you have difficulties with your horse, would like lessons, want to start a colt or simply would like to join as bunch of us on one of Bobís trail riding trips, I encourage you to give him a call.
Itís fun and educational.
